Had dinner here the other night. Amazing Scallops Nantucket and fabulous wait staff! Went back to do breakfast this morning and had super delicious strawberry pancakes. Again wait staff was amazing! Portions are generous at every meal. You will never be disappointed here thanks to Dave and his awesome staff!!
Daniel was a wonderful server. I had the salmon which was pan seared. Odd but tasty. My friend had bacon wrapped scallops which were very fresh and highly recommended. Don't except much on the asparagus. More of a garnish. Overall value of this meal was excellent!!!
So me and my family have been living in Harwich for two years and have been going to several restaurants trying new things. We decided to try the Wee Packet and had a horrible experience. The waiter was very friendly and nice but the food was horrible. We ordered a cup of clam chowder that was absolutely horrible and the sea food platter wasn't good at all. My kids had fries that tasted like they were tripled fried. As a local to the area I figured since the crowd is gone a little love would be put in the food but guess not. I spent 80+ dollars for a dinner for four and would of better off eating at Wendy's. And are you kidding me you have to pay for refills come on guys drinks aren't that expensive. Never again will I go there.
I have been going to the Wee Packet since I was a kid. I have recommended it to friends and family and guests staying at my four cottages. I will never recommend again as the owner is arrogant and rude. We arrived a party if 4 before 9 am on a Saturday. It was busy but there were several tables of 6 empty inside and on the patio. We were told there was a 20 minute wait which seemed odd. We incorrectly thought they were short of staff. After waiting 20 minutes a large party was seated immediately with no wait, so we checked with the hostess who said she had to save those tables for large parties. I asked to speak to the manager. He came out after a short wait and was immediately confrontational with no apology. He invited me to leave but said I would be back because they were the best. I should have left then, but were seated after about 30 minute plus wait. We sat got coffee and ordered our food. We were conversing quietly when the manager (owner?) came to our table to lecture me and point out that he was right all the six tops were now full. I was so shocked I couldn't speak. The reality is that he had lost business if we had been seated when we arrived we would have most likely been finished before these parties arrived. I have never been treated like this before. I don't know why I stayed after he was first rude to me except that I hoped he was having a bad moment but to come back and harras me was just too much. We ate breakfast quickly the food was fine although the home fries were undercooked, the server friendly. When we left there was a long line of groups of four waiting while there were several larger tables empty on the patio. I will never return nor recommend this place again.
Went for breakfast, the food was very good, the menu diverse and the place had a relaxed rustic Cape Cod decor. I am told lunch is great also. Only open during the beach season. Would give it 5 stars but have not eaten lunch there yet, and only had breakfast once.
