Well worth it. Host Alan polite and actually served a dish when our wonderful friendly attentive and knowledgeable waiter Kevin was busy. Busser Liz was friendly too. Small room with 3 tables upstairs was simple but fine, quiet. Dinner Sept 6 was leisurely, great oysters with shaved granita we ordered seconds and Kevin offered both condiments in stead of either or as on menu both were lovely but the granita and wasabi tobiko was incredible. The steak and bass specials of the night were cooked exactly to our liking.
The pineapple margarita was rimmed with a peppery salt quite an interesting take on a classic. The sancerre was exceptional. The chocolate flan was plenty to share and rich and creamy with a light crusty top umm umm good evening and worth the financial splurge for an anniversary dinner night out. We made reservations for 6:30 , 5 days in advance and were shown to our table directly upon arrival at quarter past left a little after 8
Wonderful little upscale restaurant that is perfect for small parties (we were 2). We ordered the spicy squid to start and then one fish dish each and it was the perfect amount of food. Each dish was beautifully presented with each ingredient thought out carefully. One of the best meals I've had in a while. The service was also spectacular. We had an extremely friendly waitress, who despite having many tables never left us waiting for anything. Loved everything about this place and hope to go back.
