Highly highly disapointed.

I was highly highly disappointed with the room, the staff, and the "breakfast".

I stayed at the resort for three nights while attending a wedding on the Cape. I stayed in one of the king ocean view rooms and it was quite large and clean. Since I was heavily involved in wedding activities, I mostly just slept at the room, but the bed was fairly comfortable and there were plenty of blankets, with more available in the closet. The room had a microwave, a mini-fridge and a sink, and the complex had a pool, though it was drained for the winter, and the resort is directly on the beach, so this would probably be a great place to stay during the summer. The bathroom fixtures were a little spartan, but the water was quite hot and never ran out. It was a bit windy while I was there and the back door overlooking the patio kept blowing open, even while shut, until I bent the latch to catch the hook a little better; definitely not as secure as I would have liked, but the complex was mostly empty so I figured it would be okay for a couple nights. Also, the flooring was fairly squeaky and it was very easy to hear the family staying in the room above me.

The staff were very nice. The rooms were Clean. The views of the ocean were spectacular from our room. My only complaint was the beds are very hard to sleep on because felt like sleeping on plywood. They did try to help by switching rooms but the bed was the same hardness but the room was allot bigger and with a microwave. Next morning I woke up to my other half sleeping on the couch. Other then the beds I still would give it a 5 star.

I do have to say the view is nice, and the rooms are practically, sitting over the ocean.

I reserved a ocean view king for my boyfriends and I for a two night stay. We are both locals, but thought it would be nice tp have an October small getaway.

The maid serves was said to. Omega between 930 and 2. My boyfriend and I went out for the day, and came back to the room around 5 pm... only to find the bed a mess, his stuff thrown on the bed, and nothing clean. They did however take the trash, and possibly give us new towels.... they were at least folded.

When I got into the room, I quickly realized that this room was musty, there were simple fixes that would take a few minutes to fix, the couch was dirty, rugs were stained, the sheets didnt fit the bed and it looks as a whole not cared for or maintained.

But for the cost and the location... I expected A LOT MORE.

"Breakfast" was served from 8-10 and we got there at 830 and there was hardly any food... bread, a c oh please bagels, a couple small muffins, and cereal. And at 835, the woman that prepared it all.. was done with her shift. It wasn't a breakfast that you'd expect at a hotel or a resort... but maybe a breakfast you'd get at a gas station. It was poorly done.

Pelham House Resort is right next to the beach and has a pool overlooking the beach, so that's nice scenery. We couldn't find out how to get to the pool, though, since the gate was locked. It was October, so it might have been closed for the season. No A/C. We wish there was a small table in the room, but we brought in the one from the outside. Breakfast was okay, bagels and pastries, fruit and yogurt. The lobby closes somewhat early. It looks like a nice place to hang out and relax. Free WiFi!

We booked a three night stay. Unfortunately there was record cold this weekend. On the second day there was no heat in the room. We slept in a 60 degrees room the second night. They still hadn't fixed the heat on the third night but they provided us with a space heater that kept it tolerable. It's a great location and the staff was friendly but the lack of heat for two days was unacceptable.
